このブログをあげるのはもう今年も終わる少し前になりそうです。
ニューヨークではあと４０分くらいで年が明けて、日本ではみんなすでに初詣を終えて、一年の最初の日を過ごしている。
このブログを書き始めた数日前の話をしましょう。
A few days ago when I started to write this post, I started as follwing and then suddenly stopped and it was left short and unfinished.
I cannot remember the stories after this to continue, so I decided to leave them here:

It is a few days ago, I was reading a book that I was scheduled to finish the night before.
The same night, I finished writing a letter that I should have sent it one night ago.
昨日読み終えるはずの本を今夜もまだ読んでるの。
今日は少しだけの大掃除をして
昨日投函するはずだった手紙を一通書いて
.................
ここまで書いて私はどこかえ消えしまった。今その日の続きを思い出そうとしても蛇口の水は重力に逆らって流れてこないし、むしろ水自体が行方不明みたいで困ったものだ。
I just cannot remember what happened folowing to these lines. It is like turning on the faucet and no water comes out,. The water is not against the gravity, there is no water.
少し先の未来が途切れたので、話を江戸が舞台の映画に移しましょう。数日前に観た映画、最近見たここ数年に制作された日本の映画の中で、百日紅という作品は面白かった。半年か1年くらい前に一度探したけれど、その時は縁がなく観られなかったのだけれど、縁がなかったわけではないみたい。
Because the story is lost, we have to take you to a story about Edo period in Japan. Edo period is more than 150 years ago.
昨日観た映画は、半年前くらいにすごく観たくて結構探した映画で
『百日紅 〜Miss HOKUSAI〜』を観た。
やっぱりすごくいい映画だったのでまだ観ていない人は是非観てみたらいいと思う。
来年、原作の百日紅も読んでみようと思う。
One of movie I watched recently is titled "Miss HOKUSAI". It is originally a Japanese historical manga series written and illustrated by Hinako Sugiura. The movie came out in 2015. It is easy to find this movie with English subtitle, I recommend to check it out no matter if you like anime or not. I recommend subtitle for this.
The original comic series (Japanese) is no longer printed, but they can be still found as used books.
I would love to read them next year.
